How to Prepare For SSC CGL Tier-I Examination

SSC (Staff Selection Commission) is a big and reputed organization of India. It conducts exam every year on the base of 12th class and graduation. SSC CGL (Staff Selection Commission- Combined Graduate Level) exam includes 3 phases- Tier 1 (based on objective questions),  Tier 2 (Main examination) and Tier 3  (Interview).

SSC CGL Tier-I exam is the most important phase for all students. Those students who work hard and preparation well according to the given syllabus and pattern, they surely clear SSC CGL tier I exam. It is the easy exam among all three tiers and doors open for the tier II exam, if you clear tier I.



SSC CGL Tier I exam is objective questions based exam consist of 200 marks and includes following section:

Preparation for SSC CGL Tier I Exam

General Intelligence and Reasoning

Reasoning questions sharp your mind. Prepare latest reasoning questions from the standard books.  Reasoning questions consist of both verbal and non-verbal. Most important topics of this section are-  Problems on analogy, syllogism, blood relationship, direction & distance, coding-decoding, Venn diagrams, mirror and water images, figure based problems etc.

General Awareness

General English

Tips to Prepare for Analogy in IBPS PO Exam

Students can register any time on IBPS official website- ibps.in. After completing 12th exam  or senior secondary exam, students can register themselves for IBPS exam. For IBPS PO exam, Graduation is necessary. Without graduation, Your application form will not be accepted by organization. You need to complete your educational criteria according to the IBPS PO. 

After applying online, exam is conducted of SBI PO. In this exam, those candidates select or get high score marks, they call for the Interview. After Interview successfully completion, Candidates are posted on PO position according to their marks. 



There are 200 questions asked in SBI PO exam. Only 2 hours is given to solve or to complete exam.

Finding Common Errors

General Knowledge Preparation, GK in Hindi

General Knowledge (GK) is the most essential part of any competition exam. GK covers many topics as current events, economy, sports, education, politics, technology and automobiles. So, we need to design a plan for GK preparation. In every seconds, somethings are happened in all world.

Important Tips to Follow:

-Read Newspapers on regular basis. For revision write down it in a diary.

-Watch news channels and also follow them.

-Some news channels are- ABP News, NDTV, Times Now, ET Now, Zee News etc.

-Maintain a Diary with latest events and current happenings.

-Set priorities for GK preparation. It means what have to read first.

-Use Internet resources for preparation. Some internet resources are- Google, YouTube and Wikipedia.

How to Prepare for GK (SSC and Others)

While going for any competitive exams, before you begin getting ready  have a through look on communicating structure and curriculum about competitive exams. For Example: For IAS exams, you have got to be a master in  General Studies and current affairs questions. For Constables arithmetic isn't of that abundant importance as compared to GK, though the one that smart|is sweet|is nice} in arithmetic are going to be ready to get advantage if he has good hold on GK, however you can't expect fifty out of fifty in GK as this field is unlimited.
